Judges 13-15
This lesson introduces Samson as a divinely chosen and empowered judge whose miraculous origin and supernatural strength were meant to remind Israel of God’s continued care and calling, even during their spiritual decline. Despite his God‑given abilities, Samson serves primarily as a mirror to Israel—showing a people blessed with divine help yet unwilling to rise up and use it faithfully. The sermon contrasts Samson’s origin and powers with Israel’s passivity, urging Christians today to recognize and use the gifts God has placed in their hands. Ultimately, it challenges believers to stop yielding to worldly pressures and instead live boldly under God’s reign.
