James 5:7-11

James wrote to a diverse group.  But amongst them, there were powerful people who were taking advantage of the brethren.  As a result, he sought to help get them to understand what was coming.  And for the wealthy who were oppressing the poor of the church, it wasn’t pleasant!

James is warning of a coming storm.  And his solution—his call—was to be patient!  That seems odd advice to us.   But as we look at his advice in context, it’ll make more sense to us all!
